Reseach description

Being a member of the Life Sciences Interface Doctoral Training Center (LSI DTC), I am studying polynucleotide translocation through biological nanopores with a focus on ultra-fast single-molecule DNA sequencing.

Co-supervised by Prof. Sansom (Structural Bioinformatics and Computational Biochemistry) and Prof. Bayley (Chemical Research Laboratory), I am currently focusing on the effect of electrosomosis \
on polynucleotide translocation.
